Maxwell Weidenfeld made his directorial debut in 2024 with the music video Same Thing (For Mojo) by Hushmoney, which premiered at the Silver Lake Shorts Festival. He was one of 9 people — and the only person under 18 — to receive a grant from Ashes to Films for his first short film, The Home, in 2025.

His first episode of School Paper: Frat Party also premiered at Silver Lake Shorts Festival in July 2026.

He co-hosts The Guardian podcast, where every episode a different adult takes them (14 year olds) to an R-rated movie.
